“Love points to an alternative disruption, one that does not destroy, but only builds. Our new Machiavellians believe that they will win, but millions of us — because we are not alone, millions of us — in our faith tradition, and other faith traditions, with the self same teaching about love of God and love of neighbor, we all know that there is another way. The way of love.
“In the face of hatred, we who have known the blessing of belonging will go right on loving. We will go on loving with commitment and conviction.”
